The US Treasury department announced a takeover / rescue plan today for Fannie and Freddie.  When an event of this magnitude occurs, I have to think of safety first.  I have no open positions in the Euro or the Pound right now, but both systems would have been active today and tomorrow.  The Pound and the Euro have each gapped up and the Pound is trading with especially high volatility and a high bid / ask spread.  This is no time to be a hero.  I have shut down Cable Glider and will watch the market to see if this big gap is filled.

Euro gapped higher as well, but that market is larger and more liquid, so it’s trading with a normal spread.  I will leave Euro Ranger on for now.
